About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Associate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Embark Behavioral Health. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions to adolescents and young adults struggling with mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our experienced clinical team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for clients
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities
  • Conduct case management, including treatment care planning, discharge planning, and aftercare planning
  • Coach clients on community reintegration and provide support for sustained recovery and well-being
  • Document progress and plan for the next day, ensuring a meaningful impact on clients' lives
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW), Clinical Social Work (CSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC), or a related discipline
  • Working towards licensure in VA
  • Supervisee in Social Work or LMSW or Resident in Counseling or equivalent
  • Strong clinical skills with a commitment to evidence-based practices
  • Passion for counseling teens and young adults struggling with mental health issues
