We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team at Primrose School. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development, and working closely with our Leadership Team to implement our Balanced Learning approach.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a group of children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with our Balanced Learning curriculum, promoting learning and development in children.
- Assess and evaluate children's developmental needs, making recommendations for individualized support.
- Collaborate with our Leadership Team to plan and implement parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Provide clear and consistent expectations for children's behavior, promoting positive relationships and social skills.
- Attend all required staff meetings, workshops, and school functions, staying up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education.
- 1-3 years of experience in a licensed early childhood education, daycare, preschool, PreK, or school program.
- Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with handling children and facilitating programs.
- Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agencies.
- A competitive hourly rate of $15.00-$18.50, depending on experience and education.
- A closed weekend schedule, with nights and holidays off.
- A set schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) - 40 hours in the first year, 80 hours in years 2-5, and 120 hours in years 5+.
- Paid week off during Winter Break (Christmas-New Year's Day).
- Paid major holidays.
- Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits available.
- 401(K) with 100% match up to 4% salary contribution after 6 months of employment.
