Banquet Houseperson

The Banquet Houseperson is a key member of our events team at Scottsdale Plaza Resort, responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of meetings and events. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, refresh, and tear down meeting spaces to meet the needs of our clients and their guests.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space, and storage areas.
- Organize and maintain the banquet storeroom, ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Transport and store tables, chairs, and other equipment as needed.
- Refresh meeting rooms as required to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Notify management of any hazards or issues that may impact the success of events.
- Handle items for 'Lost and Found' according to established procedures.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction and provide exceptional customer service.
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or related experience in a hotel or a related field.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 100 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
