Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, utilizing prescribed techniques, and ensuring proper radiographic exposure.
Responsibilities:- Perform CT scan procedures using prescribed techniques and standard positioning methods to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Select appropriate protocols for each CT scan procedure, ensuring proper levels of density and contrast are utilized.
- Review requisitions to ensure completeness, verifying patient name, diagnosis, and description of requested exam.
- Administer IV and oral contrast as needed, documenting administration and scanning paperwork into Cerner.
- Complete examinations in a timely manner, ensuring accurate and efficient scanning procedures.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CT scanning.
- Experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction.
- BLS certification.
- AART and AART advanced certification.
- Preferred experience in aspirations/biopsies, colography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and PET/CT.
