Diagnostic Imaging Technologist Opportunities at BronxCare Health System

BronxCare Health System, a leading teaching hospital and health system, is seeking highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologists to join its Department of Radiology. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality radiographic imaging services to patients, utilizing radiation safety techniques and adhering to infection control standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality radiographic imaging on patients, including inpatient, outpatient, and ER services.
  • Utilize radiation safety techniques, such as shielding, collimation, and ALARA principles.
  • Transport patients to and from imaging rooms, providing patient comfort measures.
  • Inform appropriate personnel when equipment repair is needed.
Available Positions:

We have immediate openings for:

  • Radiologic X-Ray Technologists:
    • Full-time (35 hours weekly) positions for day shift (9 am–5 pm) and evening shift (12 pm–8 pm).
    • Part-time (21 hours weekly) positions for night shift (12 am–8 am).
  • CT Technologists:
    • Full-time (35 hours weekly) positions for the evening shift (3 pm–11 pm).
    • Part-time (21 hours weekly) positions for the evening shift.
    • Per diem positions available.
  • Registered Ultrasound Technologists:
    • Full-time (35 hours weekly) positions for the evening shift (3 pm–11 pm).
    • Part-time (21 hours weekly) positions for the evening shift.
    • Per diem positions available.
Requirements:
  • Radiologic X-Ray Technologists:
    • Two-year degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
    • Current New York State license as an X-ray Technologist (ARRT).
  • Registered Ultrasound Technologists:
    • Degree from an accredited Sonography program.
    • ARDMS registration.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including hourly wages for X-Ray Technologist positions ($42.92 for 0–2 years of experience, $44.50 for 2–5 years of experience, and $46.70 for 5–10 years of experience) and weekly/hourly wages for Ultrasound Technologist positions ($1,505/$43 for 0–2 years of experience, $1,541.68/$44.04 for 2–5 years of experience, and $1,621.96/$46.34 for 5–10 years of experience).
