Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Training Specialist to join our team at Ineos Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering hands-on maintenance training and training coordination to ensure the safety, quality, and manufacturing targets of our plant are met.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement training programs for maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
Coordinate with maintenance supervisors and managers to identify training needs and develop training plans to meet those needs.
Deliver hands-on training to maintenance staff on equipment and processes, including Life Saving Rules and permitting, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Maintain accurate records of training completed and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

5+ years of maintenance experience as an I&E Journeyman or Millwright or in a maintenance specialist capacity in a chemical manufacturing plant.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (i.e., OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, RCRA).
2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
2+ years training experience preferred.
Must possess or obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card prior to first day of employment.
Possess a current, valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship (U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident).

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a manufacturing plant as this role will be required to train and qualify maintenance employees on critical equipment.
Knowledgeable and hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment such as, but not limited to, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, valves, piping, and instrumentation systems.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (i.e., OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, RCRA).
Possess skills, knowledge, and training related to implementation of Life Saving rules.
Strong knowledge of chemicals and their safe handling.
Strong process troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
Strong computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft products, iShare, SAP).
Experience with maintenance activities.
Experience with Emergency Response.
Systematic Operation - Must understand/support critical elements to Safety and Operation and understand site procedures and practices to support delivery of the Operations Strategy.
