Job Opportunity:

MercyOne Medical Center - North Iowa is seeking a skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our team. As a key member of our oncology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our practice.

Practice Setting:
Our practice is primarily outpatient-based, with minimal inpatient responsibilities. You will work alongside two experienced Radiation Oncologists and four Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to deliver exceptional patient care. Our team is dedicated to providing a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters growth and development.

Responsibilities:
As a Radiation Oncologist, you will be responsible for managing VAD/CV Catheters and Intrathecal chemotherapy. You will also participate in our Tumor Board, order tests and images, and prescribe treatment plans. Our team works closely together to ensure seamless care delivery, and we offer a range of support services to help you succeed in your role.

Benefits:
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $454,329/year (50th percentile) and up to $150,000 commencement bonus. You will also receive 34 days of time off annually, an annual CME allowance of $4,000, and employer-sponsored professional liability insurance and tail insurance coverage. Our benefits package also includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. We offer a 403(b) retirement program with employer contribution and employer matching, as well as an optional 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan. The cost of living in our area is 24% lower than the national average, providing a great quality of life for you and your family.
