3rd Party Claims Adjuster/Examiner
Job SummaryDB Insurance Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Claims Examiner to handle third-party liability claims, specifically in commercial trucking and business policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investigating, evaluating, and negotiating claims, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and evaluate third-party claims, including bodily injury and property damage claims
- Gather and review relevant documentation, including statements, police reports, and medical reports
- Handle claims in-house and oversee claims managed by TPA
- Conduct interviews with claimants, witnesses, and other involved parties
- Determine coverage, injury evaluation, liability, and settlement amounts, ensuring claims are processed in accordance with policy terms and regulatory guidelines
- Communicate with claimants, attorneys, and other third parties to resolve claims promptly and fairly
- Prepare detailed reports outlining claim statuses, investigation results, and settlement recommendations
- Negotiate settlements in line with company policies and best practices
- Maintain accurate and detailed claim records in the claims management system
- Stay updated on state laws, industry trends, and changes in insurance regulations
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a 3rd Party Claims Adjuster, with experience handling bodily injury and property damage claims
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and third-party liability claims processes
- Excellent negotiation, investigation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex claims clearly
- Ability to manage a high volume of claims and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace applications
- Familiarity with state-specific insurance regulations and legal processes
- Experience in handling complex or high-value claims
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
