Job Title: Licensed School-Based Outpatient Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed School-Based Outpatient Therapist to join our team at Ponessa Behavioral Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide mental health services to students in a school setting, working collaboratively with school personnel to support the overall mental health goals of the school.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide traditional outpatient mental health therapy in the school setting
  • Work with consumers who have a variety of emotional and behavioral needs
  • Conduct Intakes/assessments for new consumers and provide ongoing individual and family therapy sessions at assigned schools
  • Create and maintain comprehensive Treatment Plans to ensure consumer care
  • Work collaboratively alongside school personnel while maintaining confidentiality
  • Maintain both clinical and administrative components of consumers' electronic health records
  • Participate in group supervision, clinical training, and any other required meetings
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Master's Level: Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling Education, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a Human Services field
  • Bachelor's Level: Graduate student currently enrolled in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PA Licensed: LPC, LMFT, LSW, LCSW
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • Working knowledge of DSM-V, and ability to formulate a diagnosis from information provided by the client
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet paperwork deadlines consistently
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Full-time: $50,000.00-$55,000 annual salary range (PA licensed), $45,000 annual salary range for non-licensed
  • Part-time: $18.00-$50.00 per hour (PA licensed), $18.00-$40.00 per hour (non-licensed)
