About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals at HCA HealthONE Aurora. This role will require you to work weekends, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 7:00a to 7:30p.

Job Summary

Cat Scan Technologists play a crucial role in producing high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues using computerized tomography (CT) scanners. As a CT Technologist with us, you will be responsible for interpreting physician instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating the CT scan equipment, and positioning patients to capture accurate images.

Your expertise will be essential in communicating effectively with patients, medical staff, and colleagues to ensure seamless operations and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography equipment to take images of patients' bodies from various angles.
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and moving equipment into place.
  • Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate with patients, medical staff, and colleagues to ensure effective collaboration and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent certification.
  • Certified by ARRT and current BLS certification required.
  • At least one year of diagnostic experience, preferably in CT technology.
  • Solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures and techniques.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
