Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Host or Hostess to join our team at Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party
  • Seat guests by finding a clean, available table and providing a clean/current menu
  • Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide any needed assistance
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No related work experience required
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
