As a Part-Time Nursing Faculty, you will be responsible for instructing students in the classroom, lab, and/or clinical setting, promoting a positive learning environment, and working collaboratively to assure full implementation of the curriculum.
Responsibilities- Teaching and Instruction: Instruct students in the classroom, lab, and/or clinical setting, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote learning.
- Curriculum Development: Work collaboratively with the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees to develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of our students and the nursing profession.
- Student Support: Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and mentoring, to assist them in meeting course objectives and achieving their academic goals.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to students, using a variety of assessment methods to measure student learning outcomes.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education, participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- At least three years full-time in the practice of nursing as a Registered Nurse or part-time equivalent
- Active, unencumbered licensure in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
- Current American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
