About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our Advanced Ceramics Facility (ACF) team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical support and direction to fabricate ceramic substrates for next-generation RF hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solve manufacturing problems related to materials, designs, equipment, and personnel in a timely manner to support production.
  • Develop and maintain existing manufacturing processes with a focus on affordability, sustainability, and quality.
  • Develop and optimize process parameters, create and validate automatic equipment programs, and monitor process yields, cost, and process stability and capability.
  • Support the creation and implementation of improvement plans based on the above metrics, develop ROI justification for process improvements, and assist with the training of new personnel.
  • Support factory maintenance personnel with the troubleshooting and repair of process equipment, lead/facilitate Root Cause & Corrective Action investigations, and drive to closure.
  • Support capital equipment projects through procurement, installation, and release for production use, and support engineering data analysis including metrology data, ERP (SAP) data, and other in-process metrics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or other related STEM area and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree.
  • Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, familiarity with Design of Experiment (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and 6 sigma concepts for process development and control.
  • Fluency in MS Office software applications, familiarity with ERP systems, and the ability to work second shift, which starts around 3pm.
  • US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ceramics or materials fabrication manufacturing experience, knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and experience with Matlab, VBA, and/or similar.
  • Experience with CAD software, Minitab software, SAP MRP software, and Teamcenter Manufacturing software tool suite and Manufacturing Process Planning.
