Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Management: Manage day-to-day activities including accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, billing customer credits and collections, inventory, fixed asset records, cost accounting, and payroll.
- Payroll Administration: Prepare biweekly payroll, payroll reports, and payroll tax returns. Train and assist alternate payroll personnel.
- Fiscal Compliance: Maintain all financial files in accordance with records retention schedules and participate in training seminars and in-house training as required.
Requirements:
- Four-year college degree in business management, accounting, or related field or a minimum five years relevant experience.
- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, demonstrating competency in bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP, federal, state, and local laws pertaining to accounting, such as HIPAA, DOL, FLSA, etc.
