Custodial Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Bronx, New York. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent education level and previous experience in building and cleaning maintenance is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of our school buildings and grounds.
• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, and waxing floors.
• Assist in unloading trucks and storing supplies.
• Deliver supplies and materials to classrooms, bathrooms, and other areas of the building.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent education level.
• Previous experience in building and cleaning maintenance is desirable.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Salary and Benefits:

• A competitive salary of $43,135 based on an estimated annual average of 42,900 ($2,142/month). Considering job requirements, industry standards and location.
