Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Mental Health Specialists to provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities across Spokane and Coeur d'Alene. As a key member of our team, you will assess patient mental status, diagnose DSM-V disorders, and develop treatment plans using psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities
  • Assess patient mental status based on symptoms
  • Diagnose and develop treatment plans for DSM-V disorders
  • Apply medical decision-making skills for mental health issues
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists on clinical cases
Requirements
  • Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
  • Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances
  • Possession of Malpractice Insurance (offered by the company for W2 employees)
  • 1 year of Geri Psych Experience
  • 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals

Compensation

$63.00 to $88.00 per Billable Hour, with compensation determined based on pay model preferred, experience, and licensure.
