Automotive Sales Director

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Sales Director to join our team at Team Velocity. As a Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for prospecting, selling, and closing new clients within the Pacific Northwest region.

Team Velocity is a full-service marketing agency serving the automotive industry. We provide fully integrated marketing solutions to OEMs and dealerships nationwide, revolutionizing the industry with cutting-edge technology to help dealers sell and service more cars.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect targeted dealerships within assigned territory
- Conduct prospect research and discovery
- Host virtual presentations (25%)
- Calculate accurate/appropriate client budgets and submit client contract proposals
- Create and manage a business plan to maximize revenue opportunities
- Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue sales quota goals
- Set and manage expectations with new clients
- Participate in continuing education calls and/or meetings on products and services
- Keep up-to-date on automotive industry, market news, and events
- Develop relationships with OEM market representatives
- Work well as a team player and independently
- Uphold all internal processes and procedures
- Take initiative to improve tasks and meet company goals
- Work well under pressure
- Be detail-oriented, punctual, and maintain a professional demeanor
Requirements
- BA or BS degree
- A minimum of 5 years' retail sales experience is required, specifically relating to Automotive Industry - Automotive Marketing Omni Channel Sales, Automotive Agency, Automotive Media Sales, and/or Automotive Technology Sales
- Proven sales track record in Automotive B2B, required
- Strong working knowledge of automotive dealership operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
