Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) - Opportunity to Excel

At Walgreens, we are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team in providing exceptional patient care and services. As a key member of our pharmacy staff, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on medication usage, and promoting health and wellness initiatives.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to fill this exciting opportunity. Your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent patient care and services, while also ensuring the accurate processing of insurance claims and maintaining current knowledge of pharmacy systems and technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Dispense Medications: Safely and accurately dispense medications to patients, following all relevant laws and regulations.
- Counsel Patients: Provide personalized counseling to patients on medication usage, side effects, and other health-related topics.
- Manage Insurance Claims: Ensure timely and accurate processing of insurance claims, minimizing delays and errors.
- Stay Current with Technology: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy systems and technology, including software and equipment.
In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to participate in events that reflect the unique communities served by Walgreens. You will work closely with the pharmacy manager to analyze performance data and implement procedures to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements:- License and Certification: Possess a valid Pharmacist license and any required certifications or licenses.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field, with a minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacist.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and management.
