About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Charlotte Radiology. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and delivering high-quality imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mammographic equipment and other imaging devices to obtain high-quality images of the breasts
  • Position patients and use immobilization techniques as necessary
  • Evaluate radiographs for image quality and adjust position, density, or contrast as needed
  • Explain screening procedures to patients and prepare exam rooms and equipment for studies
  • Obtain and verify patient information, including clinical history and prior imaging
  • Identify care requirements relative to each patient's age-specific needs
  • Use radiation safety measures and protective devices to ensure patient and staff safety
  • Assist with onboarding and training new Mammography Technicians
Requirements
  • Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT certification in radiography
  • ARRT advanced certification in mammography within 1 year of hire
  • BLS CPR certification
  • 1-3 years of Mammography experience preferred
