Job Description

We are actively seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to work Evenings (3PM-11PM) at our Skilled Nursing Facility in St. James, NY.

CNA Openings Include: Part-Time & Full-Time Positions (ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Observation and Reporting
    • Conduct regular observations of residents to ensure their health and well-being
    • Report any health issues or concerns to the supervising nurse promptly
  • Personal Hygiene and Grooming
    • Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bed baths, shaving, and other grooming needs
  • Nutrition and Meal Service
    • Set up meal trays for residents
    • Document food and fluid intake for each resident
    • Feed residents and serve nutritional supplements as needed
  • Housing Maintenance and Cleaning
    • Maintain a clean and tidy environment for residents, including making beds and keeping living spaces organized
  • Transportation and Mobility Assistance
    • Transport residents within the facility as needed
  • Prevention of Bed Sores
    • Turn bedridden residents regularly to prevent bed sores
  • Confidentiality and Data Protection
    • Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data
Requirements:
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
    • Ability to work effectively as a team member
  • New York State Certification
    • Current New York State Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant required
  • Good Standing with State Registry
    • Must be in good standing with the State Registry
