Job Title: Experienced Printed Circuit Board Inspector

At Intervala, LLC, we are seeking an experienced Printed Circuit Board Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our printed circuit board assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect printed circuit board assemblies for defects and ensure they meet customer specifications
  • Utilize AOI equipment to assess conformity of PCBAs and identify persistent manufacturing defects
  • Work with the Production Coordinator and Process Engineer to implement corrective actions and improve manufacturing processes
  • Accurately input defect data into the MES and perform simple repair of printed circuit board assemblies
  • Perform modification work to circuit boards, including trace cuts and adding jumpers, and hand-solder SMT components per specifications
  • Recommend changes in documentation to ensure high-quality results and provide limited direction to PCB Assembler 1, 2, and 3 personnel
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant job experience
  • Experience with Koh Young AOI equipment preferred
  • Certification to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001
  • Soldering skills that meet IPC-A-610 Class 3
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions in English
  • Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts
  • Strong decision-making skills utilizing sound judgment and thorough processes
