Job Overview

As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant with Interim HealthCare of East Tennessee, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others by providing personalized, in-home care to seniors and individuals with illnesses, injuries, or chronic diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care for patients in their homes, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
  • Help patients with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, intake/output, and blood glucose levels, and document any changes
  • Work collaboratively with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure patients' care plans are followed
  • Observe patients and notify supervisors of any issues requiring a change in care, medication, or medical equipment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Tennessee
  • CPR certification
  • Covid-19 vaccination card
  • Valid Tennessee driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation
  • Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
