We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Cantina Host to join our team at Ameristar Casino and Hotel Kansas City. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable experience in our cantina.

• Greet and Engage Guests: Welcome and interact with guests in a friendly and approachable manner, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Take Orders and Manage Tables: Efficiently take orders, manage tables, and ensure prompt service to our guests.
• Upsell and Promote: Utilize suggestive selling techniques to promote our menu items, cocktails, and other amenities, enhancing the guest experience.
• Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure the cantina area is clean, safe, and well-maintained, adhering to our high standards of quality and service.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with other team members to ensure seamless service, resolving any issues that may arise.

• Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and team members in a professional and courteous manner.
• Knowledge of Menu and Services: Familiarity with our menu, daily specials, and services, with the ability to make recommendations and answer guest inquiries.
• Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tables and tasks simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of service quality.
• Availability to Work Nights and Weekends: Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the business.
