About the RoleThe Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act. You will identify nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient, plan individualized patient care while utilizing an interdisciplinary approach, and participate in performance improvement activities.
Responsibilities- Assess plans and evaluate the patients care needs and will carry out physician orders.
- Instruct and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
- Make staff assignments based on patient need, acuity and the skill of the staff.
- Respond in a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff or patient issues.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a strong background in clinical nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient surgery setting. You must have a current Licensure with KY Board of Nursing and be a Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing.
