Veteran Care Specialist

We are seeking a licensed psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically and conduct comprehensive assessments in person with each Veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure web portal.
This position is an independent contractor opportunity that allows you to serve the Veteran community while maintaining your independence.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program, an active and unrestricted psychology license, and meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
As a Veteran Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work 3 days a week, averaging 4 assessments per day.
You will be responsible for reviewing and assessing Veteran cases, completing DBQs, and submitting findings for review by the U.S. Veterans Administration.
No treatment or medication prescribing responsibilities are associated with this role.
Malpractice insurance will be covered by MRG Exams, and health insurance options will be available to you.
With a competitive estimated salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and location, this opportunity offers a unique blend of personal fulfillment and financial reward.
