The Amazon Account Integrity team focuses on shielding customers from malicious actors attempting to breach their accounts. Our primary goal is to maintain customer trust while minimizing harm to legitimate customers. To achieve this balance, we invest in innovative strategies, including evolving risk models, enforcing policies, and making informed decisions when automation is insufficient.

Average annual salaries for this position range from $136,000 in lower-cost regions to $222,200 in higher-cost areas. Additionally, you may be eligible for stock options, signing bonuses, and other components of a comprehensive compensation package. As a total compensation company, Amazon offers a wide range of medical, financial, and other benefits.

Key Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD) with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in fields such as algorithms, data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, and high-performance computing
  • Proficiency in languages like Java, C++, or Python
  • Fine communication and data visualization skills

Distinguished Candidates:

  • Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Prior publications in prominent academic journals such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, or NeurIPS
  • At least three years of experience designing machine learning models or developing algorithms for commercial applications
  • Depth of knowledge in areas such as deep learning, computer vision, human-robotic interaction, and algorithms
  • Excellent written, verbal, and data presentation skills
