About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Social Worker to join our team at Georgia Hospice Care. As a Pediatric Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing emotional, spiritual, and practical support to children and their families facing life-limiting illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychosocial evaluations to assess the needs of patients and their families
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients
  • Provide ongoing counseling and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in bereavement services and community education outreach
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work
  • Current state license as a social worker
  • At least 2 years of clinical work experience, preferably in healthcare or hospice
  • Reliable transportation and ability to lift at least 25 lbs
