Job Summary:
Bayview Physicians Group is seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Tech to join our team. As a Vascular Ultrasound Tech, you will perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound procedures and provide preliminary interpretations. You will work closely with physicians to determine appropriate testing and provide verbal reporting of critical abnormalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all general vascular ultrasound exams
  • Demonstrate proficient understanding of vascular anatomy
  • Perform color Doppler and pulse wave Doppler
  • Perform Carotid Intima-Media Thickness (CIMT) exams
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of all diagnostic ultrasound equipment and related components
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with peers, supervisors, providers, and patients
  • Work independently

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Ultrasound Technology with Vascular or Ultrasound/Vascular Technology required
  • In lieu of degree: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
  • Minimum 12 months experience in Vascular Ultrasound with the performance of at least 600 non-invasive vascular examinations
  • Obtain ARDMS within 2 years of hire
