Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aquatics Director to join our team at Waterworks Aquatics. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality of our swim lesson and aquatics programming, ensuring the overall profitability of our locations, and strengthening the overall customer and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Development and Management: Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the customer experience, increase lesson counts, strengthen retention, and increase program enrollment.
  2. Staffing and Training: Oversee the hiring, interviewing, and training of new aquatics staff members, ensuring they meet Waterworks standards.
  3. Quality Control: Conduct daily/weekly audits to ensure standardization and consistency in the quality of training given to trainees.
  4. Performance Management: Conduct and ensure on-time delivery of performance reviews to all aquatics staff.
  5. Team Leadership: Motivate and engage the team, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service and deliver high-quality programs.

Requirements:

  1. Education: BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  2. Experience: Previous aquatics management experience is required.
  3. Skills: Must be goal and results-driven, solutions-oriented, and able to coach, train, and motivate employees.
  4. Certifications: First Aid, CPR, AED Certification (Infant, Child, Adult) is required.
