Position Overview
As a Float Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various locations, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care wherever they are. This role offers a balanced work-life schedule with consistent day shifts and recognized holidays off.
Key Responsibilities

- Provide personalized patient care utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and patients to address inquiries regarding medications, health education, and medical advice within your scope of practice.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient and physician communications in accordance with medical record standards.
- Process new prescriptions and refills electronically or via fax as per physician orders.
- Act as a resource for clinic staff regarding medical information, patient assessments, and nursing management.
- Obtain pre-certifications and prior authorizations for patient services.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing - Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Preferred
- Valid RN license to practice in the state or as recognized by the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) upon hire - Required
- Minimum of 2 years of Nursing/Patient Care experience - Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association - Required
Travel Requirements
Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time is essential for this role.
