Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at York Hospital. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for MRI scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Monitor patients during scans, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and equipment maintenance
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • ARRT registration in Radiography and MRI
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, with a schedule of Sunday, Tuesday, and Saturday, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm.

No call is required for this position.
