Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on respiratory care and disease management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current Alabama Respiratory Therapist License
- Two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment
- BLS / ACLS / PALS / NRP certification
