Job Summary

The Center for Orthopedic and Research Excellence is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Clinical Assistant. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the work of our physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical assistance to physicians, handling patient-oriented tasks with precision and care.
  • Perform x-rays as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Room patients and assist physicians during office hours, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Assist with clinical tasks as requested by physicians, including suture removal, drawing up injections, and assisting during exams.
  • Handle patient calls and questions, taking accurate messages and relaying them to physicians when necessary.
  • Respond promptly to patient emergent/urgent matters, escalating as appropriate and necessary.
  • Maintain physician calendars, communicating schedule changes to others.
  • Process pre-authorizations for imaging studies, streamlining patient care.
Requirements
  • X-Ray License and ARRT Certification are mandatory.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Possess reliable transportation to travel to multiple office locations (mileage reimbursed when applicable).
  • Preferred candidates have 3+ years of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Familiarity with various health insurances, worker's comp, and auto insurances is essential.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, punctuality, and excellent attendance.
  • Show self-motivation and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization skills are crucial.
  • Experience with computerized appointment scheduling and EMR/EHR systems is preferred.
  • Exemplify excellent customer service, remaining composed and patient in challenging situations.
  • Be willing to assist in other areas/departments as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 annually, based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including medical, vision, and dental plans, 100% employer-paid life insurance, and a 401(k) match.
