Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of our hotel rooms and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock housekeeping supplies and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Apply cleaning solvents to clean rooms and work areas, including moving or lifting objects as needed.
  • Operate cleaning equipment to clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work, storage, and customer areas.
  • Empty wastebaskets, ashtrays, and transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Wash windows and sills, door panels, walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
  • Clean biohazard material.
  • Answer customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department when needed.
  • Immediately clean or correct problem areas.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Prior Environmental Services/Housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations they undergo.
  • Knowledge of cleaning machines and tools, including their designs, uses, and basic maintenance.
  • General knowledge of cleaning requirements in the hospitality industry.
  • Understanding of government public health regulations.
