- Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives and assess vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
- Identify, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required, providing estimates for the time needed for further repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
- Preferred experience of 2+ years as a Service Technician.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Proficient in B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
- Possess dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Strong customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.
- Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, repair methods, and service specifications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
