POSITION SUMMARY: This role is essential in ensuring that our Guests enjoy an unmatched experience through prompt, friendly service and attentiveness to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver an extraordinary Guest experience by providing the best combination of food, beverages, and entertainment in a fun-filled atmosphere.
  • Keep your supervisor informed of any issues or significant matters, taking corrective action when necessary or suggesting alternative solutions.
  • Create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for both Guests and Team Members.
  • Follow company sanitation standards diligently.
  • Manage your cash register accurately, ensuring all financial transactions are precise, including operating credit card machines and returning the correct change.
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service protocols to prevent overconsumption and handle intoxicated Guests appropriately.
  • Monitor Guest behavior and alert a Manager when necessary.
  • Greet newly seated Guests promptly and courteously.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders from Guests.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the menu to address any inquiries regarding food and beverage items and their preparation.
  • Input orders into the Micros system swiftly and accurately, following the correct sequence and modifications.
  • Ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to the designated server's section, as well as assist in other areas as needed.
  • Work efficiently while adhering to the 'Full hands in, Full hands out' philosophy.
  • Assist with party setup and breakdown, as well as bus and reset tables as required.
  • Support fellow Team Members as needed based on business demands.
  • Be accountable for all sales associated with your Micros keys and complete side work at the start and end of your shift.
  • Engage in all promotional activities and contests to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
  • Follow portion control guidelines to manage costs while maximizing Guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure ongoing Guest satisfaction by checking in after food delivery, maintaining drink levels, clearing clutter, and responding to needs promptly.
  • Keep your station clean and organized, setting up and breaking down tables as required.
  • Foster positive working relationships with all Team Members to promote a cooperative and efficient work environment.
  • Effectively communicate with Guests to generate excitement about the Dave & Buster's experience.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating the Micros system, processing credit card transactions accurately, and reconciling cash at the end of each shift.
  • Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Listen attentively to Guests' orders and needs, and communicate clearly with Guests and Team Members using the Micros system.
  • Adhere to the dress code, maintaining a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
