Job Summary

Solvenow Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer - Renewable Energy Solutions to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for battery energy storage solutions.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in renewable energy solutions. As an Electrical Engineer - Renewable Energy Solutions, you will work on designing and developing electrical systems for battery energy storage solutions. This includes performing complex research and developing recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection, preparing moderately complex engineering deliverables, and collecting, assimilating, and managing data for engineering work.

Responsibilities
  • Engineering Standards:
    • Remain current on departmental design guides, standards, and applicable engineering codes.
    • Apply to assigned tasks as appropriate.
  • Quality/Continuous Improvement:
    • Independently apply knowledge and comply with company quality program relative to assigned tasks.
    • Support continuous improvement and change management efforts.
  • Engineering Production:
    • Prepare moderately complex engineering deliverables.
    • Perform complex research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection.
    • Collect, assimilate, and manage data for engineering work.
    • Prepare complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles.
    • Understand and adhere to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
    • Recognize, define, and resolve problems within assigned area.
    • May provide direction and guidance to others.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Assign tasks to and coordinate with other internal/external team members on less complex projects.
    • Initiate contact with other disciplines as needed to identify and coordinate details of the work.
  • Client Focus:
    • Actively seek to understand client interests and drivers through normal client contact and through interaction and communication with project leadership.
    • Apply understanding of client interests and drivers to their own behavior and performance of the work under his/her responsibility.
    • May provide support to business development or pursuit activities.
  • Knowledge Sharing, Innovation and Technology:
    • Share current knowledge of latest technology and processes.
  • People Management:
    • May assist with performance management process, mentoring, recognition, and any corrective actions required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in renewable energy solutions. You should also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

What We Offer

Solvenow Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
