Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and optimize medication therapy for patients in the emergency department, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement pharmacotherapeutic plans, taking into account patient-specific factors and medical history.
  • Monitor patients' pharmacotherapeutic regimens for potential adverse effects and intervene as necessary.
  • Provide expert drug information and guidance to the emergency department team, ensuring accurate and up-to-date knowledge of medications and their interactions.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of California.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in inpatient, clinical, or infusion pharmacy settings.
  • Availability to work full-time, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Residency training in pharmacy or a related field.
  • Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or similar high-acuity setting.

Compensation and Benefits:

Soliant offers a competitive hourly rate, starting at $75 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
