About the Job

This is a highly specialized role that requires a team of professionals to operate the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS). As a Multiple Launch Rocket System Crewmember, you will play a vital role in maintaining the system and supporting infantry and tank units by supplementing cannon artillery during combat.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and maintain the self-propelled launch vehicles
  • Reload ammunition and resupply vehicles
  • Test and maintain the fire control systems
  • Mount radio sets and communication systems in all vehicles
Requirements
  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
  • Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Must meet citizenship requirements
