Pipefitter/Boilermaker

Job Type: Full Time Temp to Perm

Work Schedule: Shifting Schedule 5:30am 5:30pm Perth Time

Pay Rate: $48$52 Per hour OT allowances as applicable

Location: Henderson Perth WA

• Read and interpret drawings or take verbal instructions to mark out cut weld and assemble steel
• Perform welding in accordance with approved weld procedures and codes
• Interpret welding symbols to ensure correct welding techniques
• Carry out basic maintenance of welding machine and equipment to keep a clean and safe work area
• Follow all workshop and site safety requirements
• Demonstrate fitness for work and possess the ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
• Be suitably experienced with site and workshop-based duties
• Be prepared to work midweek and weekend overtime at short notice if required
• Possess a current WA Drivers License

• Experience working on Marine vessels including commercial and Naval vessels
• FCAW/GTAW/MMAW welding experience
• Trade Qualified
• 5 years trade experience
• Physically fit and enthusiastic
• Ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner
• Identify and report potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions
• Confined Space Entry and Working Safely at Heights

• Recognized training certification in rigging dogging and forklift
• Light Ridged Drivers license
• Marine defense and commercial experience
• The ability to obtain military facility access
• Rigger/dogging recognized qualification
