We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Pre-School Assistant Teacher.

About the Role

As an Assistant Teacher at Primrose School of Gainesville, you will play a vital role in helping young minds explore, discover and understand the world around them.

You will be responsible for implementing the Primrose Balanced Learning approach to teaching and learning, which provides clear daily plans so you can focus on forming connections with the children and spending time outside of school focused on yourself.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a licensed early childhood program and possess knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children.

In addition, you must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with handling children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the Primrose Balanced Learning approach to teaching and learning
  • Form genuine relationships with each child
  • Help children learn about language and literacy, science, life skills, and more
  • Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence
