Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate House Parent to join our team at One Hope United. As a House Parent, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for up to 4 youths between the ages of 12-17.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and support to youth in accordance with OHU, DCF, and ChildNet policies
  • Maintain a therapeutic home environment, promoting a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach
  • Teach and model daily living, recreational activities, social skills, emotional regulation skills, and independent living skills as prescribed by each youth's Individual Treatment Plan
  • Continually train and maintain certification in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) or other approved behavior modification programs
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to provide quality services and exceed expected outcomes
Requirements
  • BA in social work or related field
  • 3 years of related experience strongly preferred
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record with OHU required levels of coverage for auto insurance
