Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive regulatory compliance program to ensure Moffitt Cancer Center's adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
- Provide training and education to staff on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive records of regulatory compliance activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Five years of experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance, with at least three years in a leadership or specialist role.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Healthcare Accredited Certified Professional (HACP) certification.
- Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Project Management Certification.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification.
