Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive regulatory compliance program to ensure Moffitt Cancer Center's adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
  • Provide training and education to staff on regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive records of regulatory compliance activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance, with at least three years in a leadership or specialist role.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
  • Healthcare Accredited Certified Professional (HACP) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • Project Management Certification.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification.
