We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Telemetry Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing telemetry monitoring to provide data for the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions. Your attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information will be essential in ensuring accurate results.

This is a part-time night shift position, which means you will work a flexible schedule that allows you to balance your personal and professional life. As a Telemetry Technician at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, you can expect a competitive salary of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Attach electrode lead lines to proper body areas based on type of test ordered.
• Prepare skin and surroundings to ensure valid results.
• Obtain and document ECG readings as directed.
• Perform continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
• Identify significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervene appropriately.
• Identify and correct for artifacts.
• Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
• Maintain ECG equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Successful completion of ECG interpretation coursework
• CPR – Basic Life Support
