Job Type: Temporary Full-Time (Seasonal)
Compensation: First-year installers can expect to earn between $16,000 - $25,000 during the installation season, while experienced installers may earn between $40,000 - $60,000, depending on their expertise.
Work Schedule:
- This role requires adherence to specific work dates that are non-negotiable due to the seasonal nature of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the installation and removal of holiday lighting and decoration projects, ensuring high-quality execution.
- Oversee and maintain all installation equipment at job sites, ensuring no materials are left behind.
- Collaborate with the Field Operations Manager to align on goals and participate in daily training sessions.
- Utilize ladders and aerial equipment to install various holiday decorations.
- Identify and resolve any power-related issues with lighting installations.
- Ensure accurate reporting from the field to optimize labor during peak seasons.
- Engage with clients professionally and input job data using the company's management software.
- Perform low voltage electrical tasks; no prior experience is necessary.
Required Skills:
- Experience in various installation categories, including general lighting and decorations.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
Qualifications:
- Completion of at least one full season with Holiday Light Co or similar experience.
- Proven leadership skills in managing a team.
- Willingness to work extended hours, sometimes up to 12 hours a day.
- Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor settings.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with holiday lighting installations and aerial equipment.
- Familiarity with tree climbing techniques.
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
Work Environment:
- This position involves working outdoors for extended periods, often at heights. The Installation Specialist must interact courteously with customers and provide respectful service while on-site. Punctuality and the ability to transport equipment to various job locations are essential.
