Job Title: Paint Technician

STERIS is seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our team in Sharon, PA. As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components through powder or wet paint processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual paint equipment and/or automated paint systems
  • Record program settings in controllers and maintain records for paint inventory and daily operating parameters
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and other working documents
  • Record activity on the Shop Floor Control System
  • Produce quality components that meet finish requirements
  • Remain safety conscious and wear prescribed safety equipment
  • Keep paint equipment and work area clean and organized
  • Participate in prioritization of work flow for efficiency
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in powder coating, painting, or similar manufacturing process
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools, such as 5S, Kanban Inventory, and Visual Management
  • Proficient in the use of SAP
