Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Echo Technologist to join our team at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. As an Echo Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including ultrasound machines and portable devices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure exceptional patient experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies, techniques, and best practices in echocardiography.
Requirements
  • BLS and RDCS - Adults Required. RDCS-Peds Preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high patient volume.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outpatient, Teaching hospital, PICU, Neonate, and NICU experience.
  • Portables and Syngo experience.
  • IV Starts, PACS, and Biopsies experience.
  • Echo Procedure Experience Required: 3/D Echo, Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharm Stress Echos, RIT/RVOT, TEE, and Treadmill Stress Echos.
