Relief Nursing Professional

Position Overview
This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of various programs within the organization. The Relief Nursing Professional will provide support as needed, particularly in their designated home county.
Key Responsibilities
- Availability to cover shifts across all agency programs in the employee's home county.
- Completion of at least one relief shift each calendar quarter.
- Review and acknowledgment of the job descriptions for which coverage is requested.
In this position, you will:
- Perform the assigned duties of the roles as needed.
- Maintain all necessary credentials relevant to the job descriptions for which coverage is requested.
- Review and adhere to agency and program policies and procedures.
- Annually sign-off on required documentation, including the code of conduct and professionalism policy.
Training and Compliance
- Participate in mandatory agency training sessions.
- Incorporate Trauma-Informed Care principles in all interactions with colleagues, residents, and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Federal Confidentiality (42 CFR, Part 2), HIPAA, Medicaid, and HUD guidelines.
Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Possession of an unrestricted New York State License or Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse, along with CPR and First Aid certification.
- A valid New York State driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
Compensation
The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $27.00.
