Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team on a full-time basis, working nights. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to utilize your skills and expertise to produce high-quality diagnostic images, working closely with our medical team to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians.
  • Position and instruct patients prior to examination, adjusting the x-ray equipment and determining proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time for each radiograph.
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explaining procedures to patients and answering their questions.
  • Prepare equipment for use as needed, preparing examination rooms for patient exams, and positioning patients for imaging exams.
  • Monitor patients and ensure their safety during exams, producing diagnostic images, documenting exam information, and reporting important information to the physician.
  • Verify exams on PACS and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in radiological technology: Preferred
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
  • Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License: Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
  • Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred
