Position Overview:


Act as a support resource for the Technologists, ensuring that patients are adequately prepared for their imaging procedures and that these procedures are conducted efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct preliminary screenings of patients before their scheduled exam day.

2. Assist patients in filling out necessary documentation.

3. Gather comprehensive medical histories from patients.

4. Guide patients to the changing area and confirm they are appropriately attired for the examination.

5. Accompany patients to and from the mobile MRI unit or examination room.

6. Perform patient screenings primarily for MRI and CT examinations.

7. Aid the technologist in preparing the examination table, including coil selection and linen changes.

8. Organize films and ensure they are delivered to the Radiologist.

9. Manage linen inventory effectively.

10. Assist with the quarterly inventory of imaging supplies.

11. Research and procure reports and films requested by the Radiologist.

12. Serve as a communication link between the Technologist and Radiologist.

13. Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:
A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.

Must possess current CPR certification.

Experience Requirements:
0 to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Prior experience in a technical assistant role is advantageous.
